Last Saturday, my son and his girlfriend took our sheltie mix Dusty to the dog beach. I decided to take Lucky on his own adventure. We went to PetsMart to get flea medicine, breath mints (which have worked!) and a new brush. Lucky was just outstanding at the store. No mistakes on the floor and he was very nice to everyone who wanted to pet him. We then went to the local dog park, where he did a little socializing with some other dogs. He hung around me most of the time but had a good time with another dog who was similar in size. Then we went to the park close to home to have lunch. He doesn't get people food that much but I did buy him a plain cheeseburger and then he had a couple of treats from PetsMart. Once we got home, we used the new brush and he was looking mighty fine.
