Pico...stealth sheltiecat

Sadly, where we live we have all of that too (granted he likes leafblowers).
This is a large park about a 15 minute drive away. He isn't fond of the uphill...
He is very much not impressed walking to our smaller local park along city streets with noisy cars and long stoplights.
His favorite thing? soccer fields with kids. he loves watching them play.

I have a crew member who doesn't like hills either and my hill is sooo much smaller than yours. She just slows down when we start to walk up the hill-- I would worry but she is young and I have seen her zoomies around the house and out in the yard so moving isn't a problem then. I used to take my former dogs to work occasionally, and they did not like all the new unknown people- I tho't it was good training and they did get better the more I did it-- I can't imagine my current crew walking down a city street, especially my male who does not like strangers trying to pet or touch him..
 
we get more people wanting to pet him on the trails or multi use bike paths.
the city sidewalks where there are fallen fruit are the worst!
bikes are usually OK.. we are working on that. it would help if they would announce themselves before they come flying past us on multi use paths.
and that includes electric bikes and scooters!

he is ok with most noise thankfully

today was the beach..we got rained on :)

and now I'm making bacon!!!
 
we flew on united yesterday to my aunts for thanksgiving. no problems, the checkin agent didn’t even look at the bag! seat next to me had a corgi ( probably 18lbs. he couldn’t move in his carrier. pico was a contortionist in his moving around. he slept through most of the flight. last 30 minutes he was a tad yippie probably due to plane descent
 
the plane was dark the whole time which helped. but i was surprised how well he did. i couldn’t imagine flying with pico on a regular basis though. it’s a lot of work and stressful. poor guy didn’t want to leave his carrier at tsa screening. christmas will probably be his last flight.
