I have not had a Sheltie in all my years being owned by Shelties that liked being in the car.. it was some kind of punishment for them-- my other dogs loved "go for a ride?". Now we strap their harness to the seat belt and they have more freedom to move they they still look like we are taking them to their doom.. they do love it when we get close to home tho all smiles then..
