Picture posting test

Testing uploading pix from phone to post...
so the 5.5 MB pix would not post from the phone- got the too large error
seems that the last few pix that I posted were 2 or under. I forgot that I cropped Destin's birthday pic- it's 7.4 on the phone but 1.4 after cropping....

so Destin's pic is now 1.6 MB

from 3.8 MB to 2.6 MB to 1.9 MB before it would post.....
seems that to upload a bunch of pix you would have to batch process them all to under 2.0 MB....

well, I ended up putting them on my computer so that I could resize until the pic would upload.
gotta say that I have been impressed with the phone pix- makes it easier to take pix and not lug the big camera everywhere.....

I know when I send pictures at attachments via e-mail I can select a size (options when selecting a pictures just gives me option to add metadata), but I don't see any options for that when posting from my iphone.
Even the thumbnail bit is after uploading the file :( Being able to select that BEFORE uploading would be helpful I think
I totally get limiting size, but for me to make smaller files on 20-30 pictures is a lot of work.
If there was a way to upload them as smaller files than that would be great.
