Happy 10 month birthday Piper and Happy Birthday to Barley ( Piper's brother), I know their not a year yet but every month is a birthday for them until then lol. Piper is doing so well with his obedience, he's almost finished his level one obedience and is doing excellent with heeling and I can now get him to do a sit and down stay for 3 minutes. Door manners are getting better and I find as he gets older he listens so much better because of the obedience we are doing. He starts his level 2 in two weeks and I cant wait to continue his training. Piper is the first dog I've ever done obedience with ( tried it on my own with my last dog but not the same), definetly a lot of work but so worth it. I'm planning on continuing his training after the level 2 to an advanced obedience and then possibly Rally-O or agility or both, so many possibilities. Here's a few pictures I took of him yesterday, he just gets better and better with age!:cool:

oh - I'm almost speechless - Piper has so totally fabulous colors. :yes: I am crazy about those colors !!!

So I completely forgot to congratulate your little beauty with his 10 month birthday :lol:
 
Thank you so much, I do love my little boy so! We just came back from a walk, took him on his flexi-lead so he had a good run, only made him heel the last few blocks...aside from all his treats that's his treat for the day ( usually make him heel the entire way, practice practice practice :biggrin2:
 
Thanks Fireweed, I know the father Hilton was tri-factored so that could explain Piper's darker fur (it's tipped with black). Very interesting how genetics works on the different color factors in Shelties.
