Happy 1st Birthday Piper, love the hat but the look says hurry up and take the picture because I am ready to A: ditch the hat and B: I am ready to dive into the treats and goodies I see.

....He really didn't like the hat, two seconds of having it on and he was trying to paw it off but he loved the cake! I made him a dog friendly carrot cake with peanut butter and apple sauce in place of the oil and tapioca flour. The funniest part was my sister (who brought her dog Lucy over to celebrate) decided to try the cake she was feeding to Lucy (I don't know why...I never said anything) next thing I know shes running to the bathroom saying ewwww you put peanut butter in it? (Not allergic, just wasn't expecting it) I was killing myself laughing when by brother in law also had taken a bite of it. Needless to say the dogs loved it but the humans didnt

The Belles are pestering me to find out if they can have a bed too. And they also wish Piper a happy birthday. He really is gorgeous. Great. Now they are wanting to hang Piper posters up in their bedroom.
