Now that the weather is cold, my Wii is on all the time. The dogs are kind of used to it, so they do not react to it. They do kind of look at us like we are nuts as we scream at the tv though.
We have a wii but haven't played it too much with Zoey around.
I played a bit of Rock Band and I like to move a lot. She seems ok with it. Zoey, though, has been exposed to television and video games (esp. noisy ones) a lot, so she rarely reacts to them.
I'd try a game with little to no motion first, then reward if no reaction, and progressively introduce the games that have more motion, and see if that works.
Well, since I plan to start with the Yoga(for my back)....the "little motion" should not be a problem!
(starting small and working up to the big stuff....the WII I bought is the anniversary edition so it also has the Sports as well as Super Mario....can't wait for that...it's been ages since I've played!).
I'm so excited, I keep wanting to break the WII out NOW!
I wonder the same thing. We just got one for Christmas and we hooked up and Keegan went crazy when I was bowling. He kind of darts at and barks, like he's trying to herd it almost.
I've been using the time out rug, and for the most part it seems to be working. That's the only barking it's working for though.
I've been surprised at the lack of response from the dogs with the Wii since we started it two weeks ago.
Indy goes nuts with everything else, but he just goes and hides in the bedroom when I get it out. Bacca just falls asleep (so that I have to keep pushing him aside so I've got room to move).
