poopy proplem with new food please help..

I'm still feeding my boys Proplan - they each get 2/3 cup twice per day. So I agree, I don't think you are feeding too much

I too am considering switching to a new food. Just haven't decided which one. While the boys are doing fine on this (nice coats and firm stools) I do wonder if they could do even better on different food.

I'm not sure about Wellness. From what I've been seen, some pups thrive on it but some pups have difficulty and end up with loose stools.

Whatever you do, phase in gradually. A minimum of two weeks, if not longer.

Good luck! Let us know if things settle down.

I keep hearing about Orijen on the forum. I might check this one out and see if's available here.

Like you, my pups are doing fine on Pro plan, but they could potentially be doing better.

btw - I had my vet selling me Science Diet for my forever pup for years. He always had mushy poops and I just thought that was the way it was with him. I figured the vet knew what he was doing, so it couldn't be the food! Thank god for the internet!
