Prayers for Tully

A little tired, I think she over did it yesterday. But the stinky gas has stopped so that's a good sign. Seeing her Internal Medicine Specialist in the morning to work out what we do about food and managing now. *sigh* that will also mean more $$$

Quick update from Tully's specialist visit. Tully appears better and her poops look ok. She's barking and wanting pats. But she's also lethargic, wanting cuddles and has no patience with the puppy, which tells me she's not 100%. The sad thing is all this cycling through being sick, when she already has moderately severe IBD, means she may now have severe IBD and this could mean she's not absorbing nutrients. That could be why she's lost so much weight and fur. It breaks my heart and frightens me she could go the same way as Deska - he had severe IBD which developed into cancer, although I never found out if it was the same type.

Anyway, she's on home cooked for now, just what I didn't need atm. Because she has chronic pancreatitis, there really isn't anything commercial available in Australia. And in the meantime I'm taking action against a certain dog food company, who assured me they did not have chicken in their product, when in fact they did. And hence why Tully just keeps getting sick despite my best efforts.
