Pre-agility or Agility 1?

YEAH! I'm glad to hear you have an instructor you are going to enjoy working with.

Back when I started agility classes in 2008 I remember being surprised by the 'complexity' (I can't think of a better word right now) of the game. The idea that dogs needed to learn they had rear legs, the different types of handling cues and turning cues, etc. Watching it on TV didn't look that intricate. The journey, though, has been fun and I can't wait to start a new one with Keiran.

I really hope you continue to enjoy your journey with Cruz. It's great to hear he's already enthused and willing to play with you during class. (I never could get Edan to tug during class. He didn't want toys, he wanted food.) Have fun with him! As I told another friend last week, many people NEVER experience this type of bonding with their dogs. Regardless of where the journey takes you, or how far, it should be something special.

Oh, Silaria.. she is amazing! She has 4 shelties of her own, and is on the Canadian agility team with one of her girls. They are so great to watch and even better to work with. So much fun!

Cruz is really enjoying our at home training sessions..much better than boring obedience! He used to bark at me at every command, as if he was saying "come ON, I already know all of this!" He just seems so much happier doing this kind of work, which makes mom and dad happy . I will try and get some videos at our next class!
