Preparing for the news.

When my kids were young, I had a song I sang to them any time there was something not nice going on...... They're adults, but when not not things go on, I hum that tune as I hug them. I don't think your words are silly at all.... they are as much about you comforting Teddy, as you comforting yourself.

If you've been in contact with Ann, you've gotten the best advice ever. Her vet, who is my 'specialist' (we only see him for Gallbladder) feels confidence in anything she recommends.... that says a lo of her knowledge and expertise cuz he himself is considered an expertise in his field and has a Sheltie following of folks all over New England!

Whatever is going on with Teddy, the evil gallbladder will no longer be a risk for him.... Maybe you can get a board to lay on those few steps so Teddy can walk on the incline versus you trying to pick him up?

Many hugs, for you and Teddy, as you address this....

That’s so sweet what you say to Teddy and I know Teddy loves you as much as you do him!
All the unknowns are scary to us humans. If he should need his gallbladder out he’ll likely do great as you’ve kept him in such great shape.
When Piper had his cancer surgery over a year ago I didn’t know if I’d have him for much longer at all so I totally understand all the ‘what if’s’. He’s totally surprised all of us and Teddy will as well!🥰🥰🥰
