I have a question that relates to one of the behaviours mentioned in the original post, the snapping in the air. I have noticed that our 6 year old does this sometimes, usually once or twice when we are getting ready to go outside or for a walk. It seems like an excitement thing but is this something that is common for shelties to do? We have only had her for about 6 weeks and our 1 year old has never done it.
