just as general information regarding peroxide:
I had two shelties that knocked over a trashcan and retrieved real mistletoe from the bottom of the can. Mistletoe is toxic, so when I found it awhile later, I needed to make them puke. I used peroxide. It worked. It also gave one of them pancretitis. So while it works, sometimes the cure can be almost as terrible as the problem.

LOL! Perfect quote.....I would not worry about a small foam ear plug....now when they start ingesting sewing needles (like my Indy did....then, yeah to have to worry!)
All to say, though reminder to everyone with new puppies......please, please, please crate them.....you never know what they are going to find and what they are going to nibble on. Nothing in your house is safe as long as they are puppies......electrical wires are also good for chewing....feel really good on the teeth....zap!
Had a guy come into my store today with an 8 week old that he adopted yesterday. Dog slept with them overnight on the bed. I tried to convince him to crate train for his own sanity, if not dogs' health, but didn't want to hear it. He was still in puppy bliss.
