Puppy fears

2 weeks ago Enzo was scared for only the second time. For some reason, he hates the groomer's little foot shaver. We worked with him a bit on it and he warmed up a little but he was definitely scared. I was surprised.

The first time was when he was 16 weeks old and he spooked at a kid playing basketball.
 
Loud noises

So far the only thing Oberon seems to be afraid of are things that make really loud noises, like leaf blowers, which is understandable. Since we live in an apartment complex, he's exposed to a lot of people when we're out walking, as well as a lot of different dogs. I also take him to puppy playtimes at both Petco and Petsmart regularly and take him with me wherever possible - meaning whenever I go anywhere except food shopping.

Mercutio, the Samoyed we had before we got Oberon, however, was convinced that teenaged girls were the most dangerous creatures on the planet. Again, totally understandable <grin>
