Purina is the sponsor of akc and breeders get it for free. Then have to say they use it. The family friend of ours says they use it mind minially bust mostly supplement . All breeders i know of in ca say they use it
 
I think the best way to deal with this is to go for a dog food supplier. There are many dog food suppliers like Brooklyn dog food delivery or NYC dog meals and more that offer good quality food to dogs. They know what a dog needs for its growth and proper health. There are many useful articles and contents too that give you a lot of information about dogs health.
