Most breeders use the Noble chart for height estimates...of course there is some variation lines grow longer, some shorter..etc, thats where knowing your lines comes in handy...and of course there is the rule of shelties, they follow their own rules...and if its a knock out puppy you know its going to break your heart and go over or undersize:rolleyes2::lol:

yeah, Noble chart will show if the pup will stay in or be over/ under but what about actual predictor... is there something else to say that this pup will be 15" at maturity or that pup will be 13" or it is just a guess on everybody part?
this is Mr Fuzzball at 5 months old 12.5" and 10.8# - I mostly want to know what height he is likely going to end so I know jumping height?

I would guesstamate that Mr Fuzzball would most likely end up between 13 1/2 and 14" full grown...Of course that doesnt mean he couldnt either A. Stop growing next week, or B. have a huge growth spurt or grow longer (males tend to grow longer than the bitches), and end up 15" but I think that 15 would tend to be highly unlikely due to his current size at 5 months.
 
I just got Bock's new height and weight- 13wks 11" 9lbs 6 oz

Porter is 11 3/8" and 10lbs 7 oz.

Sangria and Shiraz's new owners sent their current heights- Shiraz is 11 1/4" and Sangria is wait for it.... she is 12 1/2" at 13 weeks:eek2:. I think that girl is going for collie size. They are going to the vet this week so I 'll get their current weights soon.
 
I measured Milli 4 month old Blue merle today and shes about 12 1/2 - 12 3/4 inches tall at the withers ( more or less) and weights 12.5-13 pounds.

I hope she grows on the tall side.
