Question re: Best puppy in show

Hi Everyone,

The show this weekend has puppy groups/best puppy in show tomorrow and I was just wondering if the puppy that qualified for groups HAD to come out of the 'puppy classes' or was it just the top puppy aged dog/bitch? I hope that makes sense LOL

We are showing my puppy tomorrow who is just shy of 10 months but he's in bred by. He went WD on Thursday so if he happens to do well tomorrow would that qualify him for the groups (assuming a puppy bitch wasn't WB) or is it only between the dogs/bitches that showed in actual puppy classes?

Nevermind, I found the answer in the online premium. He'd have to show in the actual puppy class to be eligible :(

Oh well, it's best to focus on getting WD for points anyway, it just would have been kind of fun to do puppy groups while he's still eligible age wise.
