Quick Miko Update - CRF

I bought Solid Gold's pH test strips and I test Bailey's urine pH every once in while. I just slip a cup under her while she's peeing and test it.
She has a history of high pH and UTI's.

Where did you find the strips? Pet store? For some reason, there's a shipping ban on pH strips or something. I called up a local supplier (we have a lab at work so I called a vendor we use) and they said for most companies to ship to CA, I had to provide my license as proof of identification, and some other forms too. She told me to go to a gardening center. Thankfully my work had some, but it's missing the portion I need. TMI, right?

Miko is eating cooked food.

Cheryl, I am so happy for you! How fortunate you are that he is doing so well. Gypsy's BUN is now up to 100. It's a horrible disease. Sending prayers he remains stable.

Aw, but hugs to you and Gypsy. I'm sure Miko will be there one day....as we both know, k/d always progresses, how fast is the question.

How's she doing? I think of her often and have her photo up on my fridge still (okay, I have all of them up still - I can't take down all the cute Sheltie pics).
