Rally and Obedience brag

Cran doesn't even have a dumbell- he can do the broad jump though:winkgrin:
If your looking for a good dumbbell Calliesmom, the lady I train with makes them to sell (HIT Accessories Obedience Training Supplies on Facebook) she makes really nice wooden dumbbells to the size your dog needs at a very reasonable price. I know it made the world of difference having a properly fitted dumbbell for Piper (once I figured out what worked for Piper I had him just taking the dumbbell from me in August to a couple weeks later of him retrieving it), she even makes the articles as well.

I just wanted to add the importance of having an extra dumbbell, after a few practice throws at the venue to see how it would bounce on the matting my main bell came apart! Fortunately I had a spare that was a tiny bit bigger but doable (I was able to glue my other bell for the following day).

thanks- I've been trying to figure out how to know what size to get for Cran. It's good to have a source for custom made...

She is really good and makes a really good quality product, also ships all over the place and very reasonable prices. She started making them to help obedience people who couldn't find custom bells. Also wooden is much better than plastic (although she does make plastic if people request it) plastic bounces really wonky!

Here's the videos...they were recorded in small segments

heeling

retrieve on flat
retrieve over high

Here's a few pictures of Piper with his training partner (our trainers dog) Diaz a Belgian Malinois...an incredibly sweet dog that Piper adores.

Piper did good but still a lot I need to correct...still crooked fronts and finishes and some lags in heeling plus things I need to do to make it cleaner. The more he learns the more I learn what method works best for him. Next step is Utility, probably be ready in the new year and then his OTCH
I so enjoyed your videos!! You and Piper just look like you belong together!❤ You look fantastic out there! Congratulations!

Thank you Jams, it's a lot of work but so incredibly rewarding! So many of my friends say to me on Facebook...your going to run out of things to teach him and Piper's breeder responds with 'then she'll have to get another Sheltie puppy':ROFLMAO:

I BET it's a lot of work!! It shows because you work so smoothly together that it almost looks easy! Just like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire! Lol I love the way Piper looks at you. ❤ Your hard work shows!
