Just wanted to give everyone a quick update. Miko did awesome!! I was worried for nothing! I was still sick and tired, but I took a nap prior to class, so that helped a lot. Typically, when walking Miko, he's so slow, so I was mostly concerned about that.
I talked with the instructor a bit, and she had everyone run the course before me, so I could watch a bit more. I was nervous, but Miko did great. He walked pretty fast, kept up with me as I did the "fast pace". He sat whenever I stopped and told him to sit. He took the turns with me, etc. I was worried about a left-hand 360, but once I cut him off (cuz he was too far away), he just pivoted on his hind legs. The instructor was impressed and said, "very nice!". She walked along and gave me instructions along the way, and I asked questions along the way too. He even did the Stop. Fast pace. I was so happy!
The only thing he has issues with is lying down. Not sure if it's old age, or just cuz he's never liked lying down on non-carpet. lol.
But overall, the instructor told us there was a match (not a trial) on Saturday, and she felt Miko and I would do excellent.
Oh yeah, she also said I did really well following the signs, and adhering to the rules, etc. I was worried about that myself. But, as she said, "when you come from agility, everything in Rally-O is much slower, it's easier to process".
I'm so proud of Miko. I'm not sure if I'll continue as it is expensive (also to have Koji in agility), but I think he had a great time.

But then 'normal' is a relative term!
