personally I think its false advertising as someone who isnt flipping the package over thinks it is made in the US..

Technically not false, but misleading. I just flipped over the rawhide I bought for my dogs and it says made in Mexico too. That's close enough for me.

One loophole is that they can source the ingredients/materials from China or wherever and as long as they're cooked/put together in the US then it's technically made in the US.

For example also with Louis Vuitton purses a friend who is involved with the company told me that all their leather goods are from China but they can label it made in France because it is put together there

I was at PetSupermarket getting Zak's food today and was looking over stuffded toys and the Skinz -all of them were made in China.

Last night, I checked the tags on Bailey's stuffed toys. They're all made in China. And these are all toys purchased from petsmart and petco.

very very hard to find any dog toys not made in China these days

I did a search on dog toys made in the USA and found several sites. I need to start looking in more of the boutique type stores for stuffed toys.
