Reagan had his first obedience/puppy class on Saturday. Its all positive reinforcement and it was where Whiskey had his puppy class and now where he is having his rally prep classes.
So we were working on sits...downs...socialization...and heeling. I was pretty stunned that we were already working on heeling, but this specific class is for puppies that are working towards performance. Well he was great in the class had a few hiccups with heeling but that's totally expected for his young age.
What was abosolutely awesome, and spurred this thread to share with all of you, was what he did two days afterwards. We obviously work a bit on everything everyday, but yesterday he was amazing!
I took him out to the downtown canals (high traffic people area) gave him the heel command and we started walking. His eyes were completely focused on my face the entire time. As I stopped he sat...it was awesome!
