Ok, on a more serious note.....you said that it seems to be one spot mostly? Not multiple spots?
Is there any pattern as to when he bites his leg? After a walk, after eating, for example?
The key is to try to pinpoint the biting to some stimulus that's prompoting it. Simple? No.
But if you can monitor him for a couple of days and track his feeding, walks, other external factors and when the biting starts it might help pinpoint what is going on.
It could also be behavioural....i.e. left alone, I'm gonna chew...maybe he needs something to divert his chewing. Thinking out loud here.
