I had setters before the shelties. My one setter, I think I posted before, because of his cancer I donated his body to Purdue University. The vet asked me and I agreed to help others. My other setter is buried in my backyard on a request from my son. Horrible day, it rained so hard and I could see the tears run down my son's face and mine. I won't do that again. My one that died of cancer, suffered, and it was a relief he was resting in peace. His brother, when I lost him, oh my it was heartbreaking.
The shelties will be cremated, as Ann stated will go with us at our feet, where they love to lay. I can't imagine not having them around me.
