Hanna gets most of her real exercise fetching - she will do it until her tongue is hanging out. Usually I try to throw it so she will have to jump over things - logs, a patch of rocks.... I love how they look running back to you with the ball or toy!
One thing I have noticed is that she likes the ball flying low and fast just past her nose. If I throw it up high she often doesn't see where it went. Also she has a terrible nose, if we're playing and the ball ends up in the bushes or treed area she sometimes will walk right by it and keep looking. I wonder if she can't see the green colour of tennis balls very well?
