Ring Steward

This job sucks so bad our club pays people to do it.

That's because you don't have anyone as green as Cheryl to sucker into....oops I mean volunteer for the job...:smile2:

Uh-huh. Whatevers :P
I think all of our jobs are voluntary as our club people are the ones who do it. The woman who recruited me said it wasn't difficult. Glad I'm one of those organizing people. Maybe she figured I could do it since I did get our newsletter out. lol

Do you also pay your trial secretary?

Yes, but not **nearly** as much as she makes on her regular trials.

pretty sure she is the trial sec:winkgrin:
our club pretty much for obed/rally fills all slots with club members.
for agility, all the people in charge are club and we fill the jobs with the competitors.
I do believe we will be trying out something like Google docs for the upcoming Feb agility trial- we'll see how it goes:smile2:

I love Google Docs. Especially being able to all work on it at the same time. It's really helpful. ;) I've used it to coordinate a few parties that way and it was great! Good luck.

thanks- I haven't used it yet. can you color coordinate it?

You're kidding right? Actually, it depends on what you're using. For example, we used Excel and it acts like Excel. So I color coded that spreadsheet to death. I think I had about 15 different colors. LOL.

The one fun thing I love....is when two or more people are in the document at the same time, you can see what they're doing and it's COLOR CODED! Meaning, if I'm working in a cell, you see it a certain color and then wherever you are, it's a different color. You can also chat within the document you're working on. ;)

not really kidding. color-coding is awesome to see conflicts.
it sounds great-looking forward to trying it out:yes:
