I am so very sorry Denise! To suddenly lose one of your precious dogs like that is unimaginable. I can’t imagine the grief you’re going through.

I get it though. You are probably totally tore up still. If it wasn't that Spitfire is lost without a buddy I might have waited longer on Ian (though Ian is super cool). Still miss the love sponge flop hound Angus though.
So many here understand your loss and why it is so immense. So sorry to hear this news. The part of this story to remember is Jocu had the best life he could have had, a dogs dream, with love and respect and for him that was everything. He will not suffer now and that is the blessing as well. I am reminded of something I read somewhere ..."It is a fearful thing to love what death can touch", it is the fine print at the end of all our contracts and we suffer for that but the wonderful years between somehow keep us coming back and loving a new bundle of fur, brown eyes and licks. RIP Jocu you did your job of making a human very happy, bless you.
