RIP Spitfire and Ian

So I was letting the guys in for dinner. Ian was laying in the yard but did not immediately jump up for dinner. I called and no reaction. When I went out he had passed and Spitfire was over by the fence also passed. Not sure what but some animal got in and likely attacked Spitfire. Now he was old and worried me but he took @#$# from no one. I am sure Ian defended him. Unfortunately they lost, my only hope is something is off dying a very painful and slow death from the attack.

Spitfire was on the way down needless to say this was unexpected. He could be frustrating times 100 but he was my buddy. There was me and lesser people to him. Even when he was being evil and had me ready to scream he would turn cuteness to 11 (never sorry Dad as he had no regrets). All attention and well everything was on his terms, he truly was the emperor.

Ian was a wild child but also super well behaved and could a lover supreme. His other name was cookie I think. I am sure he jumped in to help Spitfire and took some horrific hits.

While I expected Spitfire certainly not this way and Ian just adds to a total suck that is 2026.

RIP Spitfire the Jarl Huntsville and keep your buddy Ian an Splanc Laith happy. Maybe some dog piling after wrestling.

I probably won't be on for a while as this kind of took a chunk out of my soul so thank you for any well thoughts in advance,
 
I simply cannot imagine the horror of it. You've had such traumatic events with your dogs, Rob. Unreal and I'm so VERY sorry you have lost your buddies in such a way. I hope you have some friends who can be supportive. Being suddenly alone will be such a shock. I really am shedding many tears for the boys right now.

Sheep, my heart is absolutely broken to hear this. We’ve known each other for more than twenty years, and this is the most awful thing we’ve shared. If there is any way I can offer love and support, you only have to say the word.
 
I am at a loss for words,.I am so very sorry to hear about your buddies being attacked in their own yard.
Your stories about theu adventures and love of food always made me smile.
I hope you are doing ok and have someone that you can lean on while you deal with this. If you need to talk know we are always there for you.
 
My god Sheep what a terrible loss. It is mind blowingly terrible. My best wishes and sympathy go with you on this.. I know I would be crushed to almost non existence and full of vengeance rage. We will all miss their stories and antics and I know you will miss much more... peace.....and our hearts hang heavy for you...
