Well, all I can say is bless you all! Pictures unseen and folk putting up their hand to help out!

I suspect that if you can't google the breeder, its not a reputable one. Most will have some kind of online presence, if for no other reason to post pictures of champion wins.

Josie, I wish you all the best, and bless your heart for stepping up when needed.

My first thought was Dawn,as she is near you in Maryland. If you cannot find this pup a home,I will take him here.
Papers are not even relevant at this point, because of the ownership breech.

I would still keep trying to find the breeder. You must have this man's info at the place you work at since you groomed the dog already. He must have some info to share.
Wishing you luck, and I will keep you in my thoughts.

He is here with me, learning the manners his first owner failed to teach him. He is good with the dogs, but doesn't shut up. So instead of chilling in my kitchen for the night, he is crammed in a crate in my bedroom, but he seems much happier that way.

He is playful and happy, and I think over the weekend, I'll be able to get his personality out, and get him confident, which should reduce the barking.

He is a LOT of puppy, probably a sable merle, and all leg. He goes to the vet on Tuesday, and our coordinator thinks she has a home for him.

Great to hear Rachael!
My slumber party with George, I had him in a crate in my room also, but around 3 am he woke-up and started barking. We had a half finished garage with a crappy makeshift door into our bedroom which he ended the night sleeping in.
I hope he finds a loving home with some kids to take him on adventures.
I take my girl with me to work and she sleeps in my bed. I love her with all my heart, which is why bringing another dog into my life just wouldn't be fair to that new dog.
If there is a sheltie in need my area be sure to contact me. I plan on trying to have a bigger part in the rescue community once i do not have a jerk roommate.
He flipped out on my fiance and I earlier in the year over a similar situation involving a pug.

Anyways
Thanks everyone for helping out with little big boy George. I know he will be happy making some family very happy :smile2:

He sounds adorable. It sounds like alot of fun at your house this weekend with him and the other dogs. Sandstorm was all leg too. Still is- as a puppy he didn't bark much but that came later.

Thank you, Rachel, for helping to find this little guy a home by getting him into Rescue and working with him during his short time visiting you and your pups to help him become a confident dog.

Now, the all important question.... Pictures?

Well, I'm so glad to hear he has a home already!!!!! And I also think it's WONDERFUL that several people have offered to take him. WAY TO GO!!!!!!:biggrin2::biggrin2::biggrin2:
