the poor 'collie' looks like he really needs help and love.....I just wanna snuggle him and tell him it'll be alright. I hope rescue gets him....
 
I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. This is my local animal control. My Bela is from Sheltie Rescue of Georgia. If anyone needs me to go get either of these boys, I will gladly do so. Can't afford another furkid right now, but these two need a chance. That picture of the smiling Sheltie is getting the best of my resolve to be sensible!

I'm sorry to say it, but this shelter has a notoriously high kill rate. I hope these guys get sprung soon, and into a caring, loving home. Just wish that home could be mine!
 
Jaynie - how about contacting Jeanel at SRG and seeing if she needs help. I tried calling the pound today but it was closed. I want to make sure a hold is put on both dogs as SRG wants them. There are many purebred dogs in this shelter. They have a high kill rate. Thanks for offering to help SRG.

Yes… if SRG will take these pups, they need to put a hold on them. Out of state holds or pulls, will not work in GA…, must be in state. Thanks Jaynie for all the help, glad you’re close to these pups. Jeanel, PM me if you can help.
 
The senior collie/sheltie, PJ, is going to rescue tomorrow. The sheltie is in quarantine until July 12. There was parvo in the area it was kenneled.
 
I hope the Sheltie doesn't come down with Parvo . The shelter near me euthanizes all dogs near a dog w/ Parvo.
