Sad News

Today, Zulu is having a full body ultrasound to see how he is doing. So far, he is still his old self. The only thing I see is that he can have good pee, but he tries a follow up, little to nothing happens. Vet says as long as he is having a good first go, not to worry too much, just keep an eye on him. Hopefully, we will get some encouraging news.

Fingers crossed that there are no changes Riky! I know I worry constantly about Piper and I question everything I see in him so I can imagine the worry that must be with you all the time. I’ll say a prayer for him that the medication is still providing him some help!

Sending good thoughts that the u/s gave you good news. It's encouraging that Zulu is still acting normally! I know what it's like to watch them for any little changes. Fingers crossed today went well. 🙏

Good news! The tumor is very small and is located in an area away from where his bladder empties. Vet said it is about the best place you could have a bladder tumor. No indication of cancer on any of his other organs, and his gallbladder is perfect. She said he was one of her best patients, laid on his back and did not give her any trouble. Looks like the meds are doing their job. As long as nothing changes, we will another ultrasound in 4 months. What a relief!!!
