I posted this a few minutes ago and it was lost, so if I double post, I'm sorry.
Sandstorm is doing fine on the switch from nutro to blue. Because he ate most of the old nutro I had set aside to put on top of the blue for a gradual switch, the switch was not so gradual!! But he is fine, and now I am not so hesitant to switch it up again down the road. I will stick with the blue buffalo, he is on lamb and brown rice, but maybe eventually he would like other types, like chicken or fish. I feel good about switching, as I think the blue is a better food. It is also a bit more expensive, but worth it. After reading what other people write about feeding, I do think that a variety of food is good for dogs.
Years ago I think people (at least I did) thought that you had to stick to one type of food, but I don't think that way now. And Sandstorm thanks you!!

At first Sandstorm did this too, but now he is eating those bits, what a riot!
