Sasha is having problems!

Thank you everyone for your prayers and concern.
En route to the emergency vet clinic Sasha went into heavier labor pains. When I checked her in the car I saw.......a little paw. I told Alan to HURRY UP as a footling presentation is a difficult birth and probably why she had been laboring so long. We rushed her in and they took her back right away. We were expecting bad news for the first pup. The people at the clinic were wonderful and 30 minutes later the vet came out and told us that he had pulled the pup and resuscitated him but that he was not yet "out of the woods" as his back legs were blue. We had her Xrayed to confirm the size and # of pups remaining so that we'd know how to proceed. Sasha proceeded then with regular delivery of two more pups over the next two hours. The poor dear was in labor from 3 pm until 10 pm. We arrived home at 11 with Sasha and her three puppies: Trapp, Tripp, and Trudy: two males and one female sable puppies. All puppies are squeaking/creaking and crawling around and nursing.
Now I'm making Sasha some brown rice and chicken broth, our traditional first post-partum meal for our mommies.

What fantastic news! Sasha is a real trooper. The names are gorgeous - are they stand in names or will they be keeping them?
What a relief! I am so happy that all is well and that all three puppies survived and are doing well! I love the names!
So, three this time, I bet it will be much easier than 9! I hope you get some rest tonight and then take some pics and video for all of us to see!

I have a few short videos taken, but it takes a bit to upload it.
As for the names, they are "kennel names" and I'm sure they'll get new names at their forever homes.
Anyway, now that they are out of the woods I'll be starting a new thread about the puppies in the "for breeders only" section of the forum, so look for pictures and videos there once the thread is approved.
