Scratchy Pads

Do they make a product for dogs to condition their pads? We were down at the beach and her little feet feel rough. My last Sheltie would let me put hand lotion on her foot pads and not lick. This new pup is a licking machine. She seems to start as soon as I break out the bottle of lotion. Maybe I just need to change brands.

Does anyone else put cream on their doggie's feet?

Unless they're cracking I wouldn't put anything on their pads. You want them to be tough and rough, not soft or they'll get raw when they walk on hard surfaces.
