My parents once had a bisenji that would sit on the couch and face the wall when they came home from being away. There's a picture up at the vet where she was boarded during their absense. She was funny!!!!!

Then, when we all sat down, she lay on the dog bed by the fireplace with her head pointedly tucked into a corner, butt toward offending Mom.

I've never been away where my dog snubbed me.
When I was younger my parents had a cat that did that. Whenever we went camping..the cat always came along... except on plane trips.
In '79, we all went to Holland for a few weeks. When we came back, our cat, Tiger, had nothing to do with us. No kidding...he totally snubbed us for two weeks like we didn't exist. We did everything we could to make up for the lost time we had with him. He made sure we were eating dirt for the first week or so and then he would warm up to us. What a cat!!!

I got snubbed only once by mine, The day he got neutered. I dropped him off at work early and they snipped him. When I got there later that afternoon he looked at me, gave me the dirtiest look I've ever seen from a sheltie and turned toward the corner of the kennel. He kept that up till the next day.

Finally I broke down and bought him every bully stick that PetSmart had.

I have never been snubbed by my boy. But my girls that's a different story. Ember is the master of the snub. If her life isn't in complete order, she is ticked off. She may not talk to me for a whole day.

When Belle stayed 2 weeks at the stud owners house to be bred she wasnt happy. When i came to pick her up she ran under the table and barked at me!! She would not come out at all. I had to play the the other dogs there before she finaly decided to forgive me.
