Wow I purchased a Furminator this is a fabulous grooming tool.
Both my girls are shedding presently the amount of loose fur taken out was unbelievable.
I would strongly advise outdoor grooming as the fur flys with this tool.
I have the medium and large sized Furminator's I find the medium a bit tedious, the Large is a far better option for long haired coats.

Thanks, no I didn't see that before, thanks for the link. I have one coming sometime this week (I hope), I will let you know what I think of it and how the "KIDS" like it. I only hope that I ordered the right size since one is a puppy and the others are over sized.

Well I got my Furminator in the mail yesterday and of course I had to try it right away, and I have to say this is an amazing tool, the loose hair it gets out is wild. And yes you REALLY SHOULD do this OUTSIDE. Having 4 shelties this is going to make a big difference in the amount of "sheltie balls" floating around and hiding under the chairs.
