Well of course Danny Boy let's me sleep in his bed. Lately I wake up with him snuggling as close or closer than any cat I ever had. If I move he lazily glances my way, gives a little stretch, and let's out a very contented sigh as he snuggles closer. Do I mind precariously balancing myself on the bed's edge, No.

The best-laid plans go astray as usual Tabitha. Well, you tried but the will of a Sheltie to snuggle with his momma is strong.
But please people, do NOT tell my 2 that dogs are allowed to sleep on beds! They have to content themselves with new lovely dog beds, a sofa, various spots on the floor, and Forrest's best spot, the tile bathroom floor. He's allowed up if there's a big thunderstorm, only because we can't keep him off. Roxie can't reach the bed, she's too shrimpy
She sleeps next to me on the floor mostly. Once in a great while we give her a lift up & she prances around the bed like the princess she is, then wants down.

I made a vow that I would not let my hairy dog sleep on the bed or on the couch....i wanted to keep things clean. For the 10 yrs I've had Sassy, she didn't like sleeping on the bed or being on the couch. I broke my vow a few times....but she just didn't like it.
Now with Mya, she sleeps with me on the couch...on the bed. Simple to the fact, those 10 yrs I had with Sassy were...very, very short. So...I want to enjoy the amount of time I have with Mya until she passes on....even if it means for her to sleep with me on my bed.

Sca jumps up almost every night then jumps down after a little while. If Spitfire comes up he usually stays all night down by my feet.
Of course in the motorhome it is bed wars. Spitfire thinks the full size in the back is his. When we go somewhere he is back snoozing on it and when the evil furnace comes on it is one of his hiding spots. Of course come night time he jumps up and sprawls across the limited space. I usually have to move him and wedge in. Then of course Sca HAS to jump up as we are both there and curl up next to my head.
I need one of those fancy new motorhomes with a larger bed

I use to sleep with the cats but I bought an expensive overpriced adjustable bed, they looked perfect, felt good in the store and bought it september, since october I been sleeping in a recliner. I should not be sleeping this way but this damn bed that cost the price of 4 beds is so uncomfortable and I have a back ache even when I lay on it 2 hours to watch a movie. Now the cats don't sleep with me and well no hope for Chauncey as well. I do miss my little female kitty snuggling, she use to hold onto my finger like hand holding when we slepted. I hope some day I can fix this problem but I can't afford another major mistake like that one.
