Shelties underfoot

When I pour my morning coffee my Larry stands between me and the kitchen counter, with one of his back feet on my foot, sort of like "Excuse me...after you stir your coffee it's time for my morning carrot, don't forget."

And of course there is my protection when they're on guard duty when I open the bathroom door. Goodness knows what intruders might rush in and crash into the washroom when I'm using it. I have to give them a nudge to get them to get up and let me out!

90% of the time Finnie is laying right beside me…I can’t get up from wherever I’m sitting without making him move. He is truly my shadow! Most of the time it’s both Piper and Finnie right beside me, unless Piper is downstairs sleeping under my mom’s walker.
I so often just want them to just stay where they are, especially if they're napping. I'm just getting up to get a glass of water and coming right back to the couch! But apparently I need an escort and a few barks along the way to warn off any bandits. LOL

Monty runs up behind me and grabs my leg like he is trying to hump it....but he doesn't, he just holds on. It's not too bad but when he catches you off guard while carrying food etc, there have been a few 'accidents'. After causing me to throw bolognaise all up the wall he then normally just steps back and looks at me with a....."what" expression.........the little $%$%, i'm 99.9% sure he know what he is doing.

Willow does that too especially if she's feeling ignored in the kitchen.

Riley used to do that to me! He’d run behind me and put his front paws around my ankle and attempt to bite or grab hold of my pants. It would totally catch me off guard. Piper has tried this a couple times actually…recently in fact. Must be a move they use on the sheep that’s ingrained in them.

:ROFLMAO: It's good to see it's not just Monty, maybe he's not such a %$%$ after all and it's partially ingrained into them.
Sca was horrible as a puppy at ankle bites. The trick was when he chomped stop walking and let out a yelp like he hurt you. He is trying to herd you and if it doesn't work he stops. Of course Monty was pretty set when you got him so take it as a complement. He loves you and does not want you to get away.

I prefer this way of looking at it haha. After what we've been through over the years I think we have both became partners in crime, life would just be empty with out all his antics
