Show Prospect Puppy?

Well... you can't tell a whole lot when they're lying about like little walruses! :wink2:

The best advice is to be patient, and to let the breeder make his or her own decisions. S/he lives with these puppies, looks at them every day, and will make the right decision in the end. I know you want to know right now so you can start dreaming of your little puppy, but your breeder is going to be the one to make the best choice, at the right time, while having her hands and eyes on the whole puppy.

(Besides, there are about a thousand things that can go wrong between now and ten weeks old: an off bite, measuring oversize, missing testicle, etc., etc.)

Haha that's what I thought. Just wishful thinking I suppose. Wow! I didn't know that those things happened over time. My family and I bought our old shih tzu with an underbit jaw from a breeder but I always supposed that he had it from birth. Thanks for the advice. I'll try to be patient.

And they do look like little walruses!

The "walrus" stage is so nice; everyone is packing on weight and off to a good start. I can see why you're excited to have your new baby, I'm excited just talking about it! Please do share more pictures as time goes by - everyone loves them!

I agree! The "walrus" stage is so cute! Only two more weeks and she'll have a clearer representation of who's show quality (6 weeks).

And I'm glad that I'm not being a bother with all my puppy posts  I will definitely post any pictures that the breeder sends!
