I just bought the Power of Positive Dog Training by Pat Miller. Its very good.

I'm going back to basics with Bacca. I was getting good progress with sit and come - but down, off, leave it - forget it!

So I've decided to try the whole clicker training thing. Bacca and I are at stage 1. Click, Treat, Name, Click, Treat. yadda, yadda

I haven't forgotten you Barb, I will post something on YouTube soon, regarding, Look, Take It and Leave It. Last week was busy and hurricane Ike hit us on the weekend so I wasn't able to make my video (I want to do it outside).

Using a clicker to train these behaviours is definitely useful. I'll make sure to include the clicker in the video
