Please pray for Rex. I came home after work today and found that he had some serious diarrhea and had vomited. I've withheld his food, but keeping water down for him to combat dehydration. If he hasn't improved in the morning a vet visit is in order. I can tell his tummy is aching. Poor baby.

Just said a special prayer for Rex and for you. (It is so hard on us when our babies are sick)

Please continue to update us on how Rex is doing. Thanks.

Hi guys! Sorry, for being so long to update it has been a busy day. Yes, Rex is much better! Thank you so much for all your prayers. I was absolutely worried sick all night long, didn't sleep, but he only had one more poo and today is doing awesome! I'm going to keep him on rice krispies for the next few days and then start adding in his regular food.(yes! I discovered a good replacement for rice when you don't have any... gluten free rice krispies!)

Thanks for the update.

So happy to hear Rex is better!

I will keep him in my prayers for a total recovery.

ps Great name, Rex.

For Tummy problems or diarehha please try Mega Dophilus Acidophilus

Just a 1/8 or so teaspoon full helps any kind of tummmy problems. Not a plug I have use nothing but Natren for 26 years now.
Our Sheltie that died in April 2012 was given it daily for years. It helped his tummy or diarehha every time. I use it mixed in Yougurt a small amount of Yougurt or Cottage cheese I even use to wet it a tiny bit and he always took it wllingly. Kind of like a Wet Paste , not much water it will be runny.
I used the Acidophilus Powder by Natren, we all take it here to for tummy aches it is the good bateria we all need Dogs too!

Hope this helps everyone whom need it! I am New Hi.:wink2:
3 Shelties gone over the Bridge, a new Puppy in July he keeps hurting his bag legs running so fast.:confused2:

We dearly love him but sure miss our Loving Pokie. He was my baby.

Hi and welcolme !! Sorry for your loss of Pokie...they have such a special place in our hearts. Would love to see a picture of your pup. I take probiotics everyday and they have really helped me. Sally has a good gut so far so no need for her to take them yet.
