Simba agility update

Following on from my thread about the great seesaw I got for Christmas, I wanted to give an update on how we are getting on with it. We have spent a lot of time playing seesaw games and building confidence on our mini seesaw. He was running the mini seesaw on his own after a week and would bark like a crazy dog when he saw me taking it out of the shed. I was a bit nervous about how he would react to the full size seesaw at the class but the minute we got there last weekend he made a beeline for it. He dragged me across the arena on his lead, ran up and waited for his reward at the end  It's safe to say it is his favourite piece of equipment now!

Here is a video from last month at training. Please remember that we are still only beginners  Simba isn't even 2 yet and he is my first ever agility dog. I have a lot of work to do with my handling but Simba is brilliant :biggrin2:
(That's the puppy Shoka barking in the video he is VERY eager to get going)

You guys look AMAZING!!!!!!! Especially since he is so young. I see great things in your future!

And, yes, Spirit, too is a way better dog than I am handler. I suspect that happens a lot with shelties :-)

Thank you :biggrin2: Our weaves and seesaw have both been sorted since this video so I will have to get another video soon!

Shelties are just so smart. We may as well teach them to read. Then they could walk the course and run it without us

That was awesome!!!! And Shoka? BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! He will not be ignored.
What Cara said, me too. If I let Echo run the course by herself, she'd do a much better job, lol.

Thank you :biggrin2: haha Shoka doesn't like to be left out. I usually put him in the crate so he can't see us  It would be a lot less tiring if they could run themselves  I think I need to work on my fitness haha!!
