Sir Farts-a-lot on Wellness!!!

I don't mean to laugh, but the way you described it, does have me LOL.

Anyway, I have lots of gas at times too, HeHe, and using probiotics really helps. Hopefully they will help him as well.

It's the probiotics, I read yogurt is full of it. I'll try to remember that when we go to the store.:smile2:

If you buy yogurt for him, read the ingredients and make sure there are no artificial sweeteners in it. They are toxic to dogs. Sugar is OK (plain without sugar is better), but not artificial sweeteners.

Well I know it's not the grains, it's already grain free. He's eaten chicken all his life (almost 10 years now) so it's not that. Besides, the food he's eating now is lamb based, that could be it. I'll compare the protein of the Wellness foods and Proplan (what I fed before the gas bombs started).

About the pumpkin, I've always given my dogs can'ed pumpkin puree (spice free) from the grocery store and have never had problems with it nor have I ever heard of any dogs having problems with it. Could you tell me what the difference is in the 100% Pure Pumpkin Puree from the grocery store and the 100% Pure Pumpkin Puree from the pet store?

You just don't want any additives- sugar or salt. If you can find canned pumpkin elsewhere, then terrific!

Gavin has been on wellness core for a few years now, ever since the chinese dog food scare. He does fart a decent amount
Sometimes I can hear it and he gives me this looks, like 'who...me?"
Not too smelly, though. He doesn't get the runs though, which is a big issue with him, so we like the food. But it is a 'rich' food.
