Skye's new trick

She certainly does know her own mind. I told the story some time ago - absolutely true story- of when she was younger and we switched her to a less palatable 'light less active' food. We were rather surprised that she would prefer to carry it in piecemeal and eat it in the next room. It wasn't until I played detective and stealthily peeked around the corner that I found out she was carrying it piece by piece into the rarely used dining room and dropping it down the air conditioning vent. - Dr. Mac

Oh my!

She really is smart. That is hysterical.

Gotta love a Sheltie. Noah used to bring a mouthful of food from the laundry room into the living room to eat it, even though he may already have finished the mouthful by the time he got the 15 feet.

Liam almost inhales his food. Emma is a lady and takes her time. I think she does this on purpose, because Liam can't come out of the laundry room until she is finished and she just pokes and pokes with eating.

Ha ha, that's hilarious - I always say you need a sense of humour to have a sheltie. Phew those vents must have gone a bit off in summer!

Still it is nice to have company at the dinner table:lol:

LOL...that's so cute! And sweet. Maybe she needs on of those doggie high chairs from Ikea so that she can join you at the breakfast table?! :wink2:

Dang.. I luv you guys. We do know our Shelties...
Yes, of course as a Sheltie she is quite capable of inhaling a bowl of food when properly motivated, but when she has an audience waiting on her she prefers to, rather pointedly, savour every morsel.

bet you had fun getting that cleaned out.

the pumpkin pups eat in their crates and Callie gets to eat in the kitchen. Pups have to wait until Callie is done before they get to come out :wink2:

That's funny!!!! It amazes me how shelties seem to somewhat have the same personalites!! 3 of mine INHALE their food, but, Cody, my blue-merle insists that I SIT until he's finished. If I walk out of the room, he'll follow me around until I go back to his bowl and tell him to eat. Then and ONLY then, will he finish his meal!!!
