*Smelly*, low-allergen, high-value training treats?

Meatballs are our "for emergency only" treats when we are in a high distraction, loud area. I make them myself so you can use any meat of your choosing and also add a bunch of parm cheese in there for extra yumminess. I usually warm them up in the microwave right before leaving for wherever we are going and that makes them smelly enough to keep pup's attention without torturing yourself or hubby :)

Dehydrated lamb lung also works well!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

I made a half batch of more or less fish fudge and Olive loves it! DH hated it and my hands smell like fish after using it, but oh well.

4 oz salmon
1 T ground flax with 3 T liquid (water and/or whatever comes out of the fish)
1/4 -1/3 C oat flour

Mix well, Press into a parchment paper lined loaf pan and bake at 330 F until set. I freeze it in chunks to break off to take to class. Once we move I'll explore more local options.
