Snow Shelties

Although all of mine love the snow, I had one (Cody who passes away three years ago) that would root in the snow with all her might as though there was a hot dog somewhere inside that white pile of fluff. AND she would run and fling herself into the piles we had made shoveling the walk. Too funny. Wish now that I had gotten video of her antics.

Can't wait for the first snow here. I'll be ready this time with my video camera!

Bonnie is okay with it. Bonnie doesn't really play. And she never really has. Casey doesn't like snow, because he doesn't like anything unless I'm with him. Annabelle thinks snow is wet and cold and she does NOT like WET! I've wanted to see shelties play in the snow, but my shelties just don't do that.

Toffee HATES wet.. but just adores snow...
whole face plant and nose shoveling and biting it and chasing it.. his very favourite is to have people kick or shovel the snow and he has to try and catch/herd it.
He is a tad obsessive about it all...

All of mine love the snow, particularly eating it. Noah used to love laying out in it. He had such a heavy coat, he must have been very hot in the house.

Liam loves to chase snowballs, and try and bring them back to me, which is a riot to watch.

Jesse Loves Snow!!

Jesse absolutely loves snow!! He rolls in it, sticks his nose in and licks it. In the spring when there are only a few patches of snow left, he seeks them out. I love to watch him being so happy!!

Snow *

Treesa likes to rub her face, dig her nose in, and roll in the fresh snow* ...( we've had lots again) and she eats the snow and icicles ... crunch.. crunch ....

It is so funny - but my silly sheltie sticks his nose in the snow and loves to get it all over his face! Does enybody else's sheltie do this too? Is this just another sheltie trait? It cracks me up every time.

My Pudding always turned in to a snowy-monster after being outside <3 Haven't seen these photos since her passing and very coincidentally spent all of LAST night looking at past photos of her and your thread made me post these though they made me teary-eyed... She too had quite a goofy personality.. <3

OH yes! We don't get nearly enough snow here in Central Colorado to please Shadow, but he loves to get it in his face when we do!
