So, Exciting News

Well, I totally wanted all five of them. Actually, one of them was really, really noisy, and I'm glad that he went to someone who thinks that is "charming". He was noisier than the other puppies AND the adults and the Siamese cat combined! One went to my mom. So I'll get to see Bosco again. Tara had a girl that was exceptionally difficult to let go. I cried for days. But she is the heart of her new family. So, she's helping heal someone's heart. And the best part is that they named her Belle. And Clara had a little girl that was tiny, but so sassy. She's living with a groomer now, so she'll be as beautiful as she can be.

Rocket was very shy around strangers. Every time anyone came over, he just shook. So, we just decided that he is very happy at our house. He really sparkles at our house. And he even gets old Annabelle (his grandma) playing like she's three again.

Rocket HATES getting his picture taken. He always turns his head away. I have a lot of blurs. These are about the best two pictures I've taken recently.

Oh and I forgot this part. My husband has been saying, "NO! You can't keep one!" for ten long weeks. He occasionally added, "We need a fifth dog like we need a hole in the head." And he also kept saying, "It isn't fair to the ones we already have." A few days ago, I heard him say, "Rocket you (expletive that starts with an A) what am I going to do? I can't sell you. I love you too much." Then two nights ago, I was checking emails and he said, "Any emails for the puppy I hope? No I don't hope. I love him." Then last night, "So, are we keeping the name Rocket?" So, now I feel comfortable saying, He's mine. The only white on his back legs is his little toes. The rest of his legs are brown. And one front leg is white and the other is brown. He is a shadow puppy. He follows both of us wherever we go.

Wow, 5 Shelties - you are a brave soul!! :biggrin2: I thought I had my hands full with three. Rocket is really cute, I love his markings. It sounds like he was indeed meant to stay with you. Fun times at your house!! :pop

Wow you are a brave soul. I was thinking about Lil' Lady when you stated 5, she takes me 2 1/2 hours to groom from the
shampoo on. Glad you got to keep him he is a cutie. Valentine Day is coming up so thanks to your husband he is agreeing
with you. Happy Valentine Day early with an adorable little guy. Love the name Rocket.

Rocket is such a cutie! And, yes, you are a brave soul with 5! I thought 4 was a handful, I can't imagine 5 - and one being a puppy!
We'll finally round out our group on Saturday when we adopt Chatter. Tangie and Cherry are getting along great and I think Chatter will be a good addition.
Also - your husband is a wise man keeping Rocket. When my wife is happy, I'm happy. Fortunately, she knows the right number of Shelties for this household is 3. (y)

I haven't thought of it as brave. This isn't the first time we've had five. They really act like they belong together. They all play with the puppy and wear him out. He is a very smart and very good boy. I was at the point where I thought DH was right and four was the proper number. DH was the one that has wanted him. Although I have to admit the first time Rocket refused to roll over, and then stood over my hand for belly rubs, I fell hard for that little dude.
