So I have some news~

Can't wait for your report after tues. I talked to the PBGV lady here at the agility trial and she looked at some puppies in NC but didn't know anyone in SC.

We are taking both dogs, even though Trapp is much more settled.Taking Jasper will give Brian a bit of a taste of it,and hopefully the journey will be a duo team of both of us. I so want both boys to progress together.

So Tuesday, will be a morning of firsts. Not sure what to expect, not sure what I will see or be exposed to. I am confidant in thier behavior, and thier manners. It's my jitters & my lack of knowledge that worries me. But I am sure many go thru what I am going thru right now for jitters.

If you only knew how many videos I have watched the last 2 days...

I actually went to print off all the stations tonite. Ran out of ink! I got all of them but #1-15....and I am sure those are many of the ones I really need.So that is a bummer. But I will remedy that when I get ink.

When I go to train I cut up little bites of two or thee different taste/texture treats. My guys like hot dog bits, string cheese and mini marshmallows (ok, I like those alot too...) for sensitive tummies, their kibble works well too. Bobby said pocket link is tasty, so sometimes I wonder who the hot dogs are really for! :biggrin2:

I just read that your dogs are countng calories, as Bobby should be! To make low calorie training treats I make a trial mix of Cheerio's, lean Pupperoni, part skim mozzarella sticks cut into wee bits. The cheerios take on the aroma of the Pupperoni... or they are just carb addicts like me. :smile2:

Well thank you for the recipe~ I may give it a try. Trapp is not food motivated,(and he is the one with the most weight to loose) But I will give it a try. Jasper lives to eat..seriously a foodie holic

I am impressed that you have a set of signs! You are going to do fine! :)

Didn't realize I was so low on ink,if I thought I was going to run out,I would have changed settings on my printer to print #1 first instead of going backwards.
So I am missing the first 15 stations. GRrr...!

So I have some news

I know you'd do just fine. You're already 10 steps ahead of anyone else by printing or handmaking the signs. I like GoodDogs advice about a variety of treats. I use quite the variety in obedience and my dogs are always surprised what may be coming next. I do try to avoid using too much cheese. Pancreatitis is not fun for the dog or it's caregiver.
