So Much Sadness

There is no pain like losing your child. Been there. You naturally expect that your children will outlive you. Not a day goes by that I do not think of him. But he lives on in his two daughters. They are young adults now, full of life, just like their dad. Now when we get together, we have great conversations about remember when... Prayers to you and your family during this difficult time.

Having lost both my brothers I know how difficult it was on my mom. My sister’s and I provided as much support to my mom as possible (she would’ve been in her early 70’s when my brother’s passed 2 years apart) and we supported her and allowed her time to grieve. It never gets easier but talking about them and remembering the good times came easier with time.
Lean on your family and let them carry the load as long as you need them too. As hard as it was for me losing a brother, a mother losing a child is unimaginable.
❤️❤️❤️❤️:hugs:hugs:hugs

Thanks to everyone for your kindness and compassion. We are still reeling, but trying to take one day at a time, one hour at a time. The dogs are so intuitive. Somehow, they know. I can't sit down without one of six heads on my lap, softly and quietly, not in the usual demanding manner. They really are getting me through the day.

❤❤❤❤❤ we're thinking of you a lot Ann

Dear Ann, we’ve been through so much in the sixteen years of Sheltie Nation friendship. Yet this is by far the most devastating of all things possible. I am so, so sorry, and I just wish I were near to sit by your side in the silence of grief.
