Some highlights from this weekend

[corbinam]

Had a fun (yet cold) weekend at a local trial. Bentley and Lexi both did very well, though it seemed to be a weekend of "almosts". Neither dog had many (any?) 100% clean runs, though they both showed tremendous improvement, had moments of brilliance and even brought home a few Qs. I was VERY pleased.

I posted all the videos (and boring, lengthy write-ups) on my blog but figured you guys would want some of the highlights.

I put everything in one video, so I'll post times here for the good stuff:
Bentley:
Masters Jumpers @4:43
Masters Snooker @ 5:17
Grand Prix @ 7:31 (this wasn't a Q, but very close!)

Lexi:
Masters Gamblers @ Beginning (not a Q, but proud of her discrimination here)
Steeplechase @3:39
Masters Jumpers @4:38 (not a Q because of a bad handler, but a tough course and she did well!)
Advanced Standard @6:03

(And no, I didn't pick all the videos...the dogs had 10 runs over the weekend)

Bentley finished the weekend with a Masters Jumpers, Masters Snooker Super and Steeplechase Qs. And Lexi got her Advanced Snooker and Advanced Relay Titles, and also brought home an Advanced Standard Q and a Steeplechase Q.

I am pleased because both have at least one tournament Q now. I'm thinking of going to the midwest regionals in Chicago in August.
